Full description:
This account was written after the war of CHJ Morgan's experiences in Malta, Leros, and as POW in several German camps. He is mentioned in the 1943 Roll of Honour in the respective regimental war diaries, which was the last one as the 4th Battalion was disbanded the same year. The document was deposited at the Middlesex regiment museum before it closed down and had its collection absorbed by the National Army Museum where it is now found.
