Full description:

The black and white photograph, which is likely to have been taken before 1950, shows Percy Horton posing at an easel (he was a painter). As the photograph is held by the archives of the University of Oxford, of which the Ruskin is a part, it was possibly taken when Horton took over as the Master of the School in 1949. The photograph was taken by a photography company based in Oxford at the time and some of their other photographs are held in individual college archives.
