John Kelsall’s Journal (1700-1736) is a narrative summary of his family background and early life, followed by a summary of the main events recorded in his Diary. It is 278 pages long in closely written script in a small pocket-size volume.

Partial transcripts of the Journal are in the National Library of Wales and a number are known to be in private hands.
