Full description:This diary was written by John Kelsall between 1716 and 1743 in six continuous pocket size volumes totalling some 1000 pages of closely written text.

Partial transcripts of the Diary are in the National Library of Wales and the Leeds Brotherton Library, and a number are known to be in private hands. Short extracts and quotations from the diary have been published in a number of scholarly papers from 1895 to 2009. Microfilm copies are in the National Library of Wales, Yale University Library and, no doubt, elsewhere.
