The Churchill Archives own the copyright of Sarah Churchill's papers but not her published works (the publishing company who currently manages the title) has this. My in-depth investigations find that no current publisher manages the rights. I traced that the last rights holder was Susan Frewin but letters to her got no reply. I was advised that she may have died. Hence the need for an orphan licence.
