Oil on canvas painted by Margaret Lindsay Williams (1888-1960) in around 1926 . Approx:1700x1400mm. Three sea maidens bathing with three nymphs in attendance.Central figure sits in a large blue-green shell , she is bedecked with a pink rosebud garland and a dark pink silk.In the background there are dark mountains with a sunset sky in oranges and yellows.This work is framed in a gold painted wood carved frame.
