Full description:
Oil painting on canvas painted by Margaret Lindsay Williams (1888-1960) in around 1926.Approx 1700x1400mm in size.Depicts a male and a female angel in mid flight. The male angel has pale pink wings with turquoise details and is naked. His outstretched arm reaches for a star to his right, against a dark blue sky.He holds the hand of the female angel, naked apart from a dark pink silk that partly covers their forms. The female angel has small yellow butterfly- like wings and long blonde flowing hair.The bottom of the painting shows a mountainous background with the tops of what look like Cyprus trees.
