Full description:
The photograph is one of a series of black and white images taken by Major Frank Russel Burnet, of the Royal Garrison Artillery of people and places associated with the training of his unit in the west of Scotland and at an installation in Fife known as Fort Piers. The photographs are in the care of Inverclyde Museum. I have not seen the originals - only the Museum's scans.
