Full description:
Black and white photograph postcard, standard postcard size, of the 'Midland Counties Asylum, Knowle'. This institution was later known as Middlefield Hospital, which has since been demolished. The Hospital front is a long building, with several chimneys, and tall trees outside. It is a grand building situated in impressive grounds. There are no people present in the picture.
