The Concerto for Clarinet, Harp and Orchestra by Rudolf Dolmetsch from 1939 is an important British work in the clarinet concerto genre partly because this is one of two works for clarinet and another instrument (the comparison work is by Holbrooke) by a British composer and the main fact it is for clarinet and harp. The work is in three movements and is scored for: solo clarinet and harp, 2 flutes, 2 oboes(cor anglais), 2 clarinets (bass clt), 2 bassoons, 2 horns, 1 trumpet, timpani and percussion, vln 1, 2, viola, celli and bass.
