Full description:From W Beach was written by Geoffrey Dearmer, and was published in a compilation of poetry in 1918 entitled 'Poems'. The poem appears on page three of this compilation and is five stanzas in length. The poem's subject matter is the Gallipoli Campaign of the First World War, which Dearmer fought in.
