Full description:
Oil on canvas, 507mm x 607mm; Subject: landscape of Cornish coast with buildings in foreground, looking across steep sided hills to the sea. Following his sister’s move to Boscastle in Cornwall around 1915 Ginner visited her and the area often until 1947. The style of this (and the signature) suggest it's from the early 1940s (cf painting Tate collection).
